Black and Latino Achievers Program

Founded in 1971 at the Harlem YMCA, the Black and Latino Achiever's program has spread quickly throughout YMCA's across the nation. the purpose of this prgram is to help African Americans and Latino youth develop and pursue higher education and career goals. the program reaches into the heart of the community by matching achievers with youth participants. The Capital District YMCA realizes the potential this program has to bring a positive influence to our many surrounding communities.
