Accommodations
Adirondack-style
cabins at the foot of Buck Mountain feature single
and bunk beds. Just toss on your sleeping bag and pillow and you'll be set.
Modern bath facilities are a short walk from the cabins. The chef prepares
healthy, delicious meals, beginning with dinner the first day and ending with
lunch the last day.
Family Day Programs
Take a day and
bring your son, daughter, or the whole family on an all-day adventure such as
rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, skiing, ice fishing, ice skating,
and more. Day programs begin at 9:00 a.m. Chingachgook staff, who have
extensive training in leading outdoor expeditions and are certified in
wilderness first aid, lead the days' adventures. We'll provide lunch, all
instruction, and the necessary equipment to have a fun and safe outing.

Family Adventures
Take your son,
daughter, or the whole family on a Family Adventure. These four-to-six day
trips get you and your family into magnificent wilderness for peaceful
adventures. Canoe on Lake Lila or Lake George in the Adirondacks or sail a
24-foot boat on Lake George. Trained, mature,
and confident staff certified in wilderness first aid lead the family adventure
trips. We provide transportation from camp, food, instruction, and equipment.
