About KidzLodge
The Southern Saratoga YMCA has embarked on an exciting addition to our
facilities in 2007 with a conversion of the old Clifton Park-Halfmoon
Public Library into a fully New York State licensed day care center.
The Center will be named "The Southern Saratoga YMCA KidzLodge - An Early
Learning & Adventure Center."
This unique Adirondack themed day care center will accommodate approximately
250 youngsters a day from ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
The programs offered will provide for working parents and children in
the community a unique, safe, high-quality early learning and adventure
experience.
This project will significantly expand the YMCAs current day care and
child care offerings and is another avenue for us to expand our services
to the community.
Southern Saratoga County has a strong demand for high quality infant and
toddler care and this YMCA is well positioned to be the best provider
for these services in the Capital Region.
About Our Facilities
Offering placement for 250 infants through school-age children served
daily in our new Day Care Center featuring:
- 1 Multi-Purpose Room
- 3 Private Party Rooms
- 2 Outdoor Playgrounds
Enrollment Information:
- 2 Infant classrooms – 6 weeks to 18 months
- 3 Toddler classrooms – 19-36 months
- 5 Preschool classrooms - 3 & 4 yrs
- 2 K-CARE classrooms
- School Age Child Care Rooms
Enrichments Include:
- Creative Curriculum
- Creative Arts
- Indoor/Outdoor Play/Fitness
- Literacy
- Science / Math
- Small/Large Group Activities
- Daily Lunch / Snack
