Southern Saratoga YMCA ExpansionDear Friends, The mission of the YMCA, as a large, multi-purpose association, is the promotion of strengthened family lives, community development, the instilment of core leadership qualities in our young people, as well as the advancement of fitness and healthy life styles. One immediate and over-riding mindset at the Southern Saratoga County YMCA is to assist and do our professional best to keep up with the growth of our community by continuing to provide, offer, update and add comprehensive programs and services. As we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Southern Saratoga County YMCA we take pride in knowing that the facility continues to be a vital and active community hub in which members, families and everyone interested has the chance to utilize and explore this remarkable facility. Within this YMCA they can participate in a variety of recreational, physical and healthy social activities. Currently, due to limited space, a person only has to look around or tour the facility to see how active and busy, but cramped, this building is. We have been unable to offer more programs specifically designed for and benefiting our older adults and teen members in separate, dedicated sections of the facility. The Southern Saratoga YMCA proposes development and construction of a multi-use annex to the existing facility in an effort to maximize facility usage in order to meet the demands and continual requests of our members to have sufficient space available for new programs and fitness/health activities. Please join us as we help the greater Southern Saratoga County area grow and prosper as we help meet those needs through our services. John F.
