YMCA Day Camp - General Camp Offerings

Explorer Camp

Days: Monday-Friday
Times: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Ages: entering grades 1 to 2
Dates: June 30- August 29

Explorer Camp is perfect for the first year camper. It is a balance between structured activities, free play and character development through socialization. Daily swimming, arts & crafts, sports, games, field trips, special events & so much more!

Pioneer Camp

Days: Monday-Friday
Times: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Ages: entering grades 3-5
Dates: June 30- August 29

Pioneer Camp is for both the returning camper and the first timer. Kids will grow & build self esteem in intermediate camp. Kids participate in swimming, arts & crafts, outdoor activities, fun games, field trips, group activities and more! Pioneer camp is perfect for making new friendships.

Trail Blazer Camp

Days: Monday-Friday
Times: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Ages: entering grades 6-8
Dates: June 30- August 29

This is a lot of fun for young teens, challenging programs, field trips & special events with an emphasis on leadership skills & team work. More team building this year as well. Special field trips & overnights are just some of the Senior Camp privileges! Don’t miss out!

Counselor In Training (CIT)

Days: Monday - Friday
Times: 8:30 AM to 4:30PM
Ages: Teens ages 13-16
Dates: June 30- August 29
Fee: $100 per week

This fun & exciting program teaches the basic elements of camp counseling & leadership through hands on experience. This is a great way to gain self-confidence & leadership while working with children under the supervision of an experienced counselor.

Acceptance is based on an interview with the Camp Director. There are a limited number of CIT spots available! Call the Camp Director at 399-8118 ext. 3350 to set up an interview. All CIT’s will need to attend pre-camp staff training.

Fun Club

Dates: September 2nd & 3rd
Times: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Ages: Grades 1-8
Fee: $34 per day per child

Fun Club is an additional two-day summer day. Fun Club includes open swim, crafts, outdoor activities and fun group games.
