HEALTH & SAFETY: Our day camps meet the highest Health and Safety standards of the YMCA and the NYS Health Department. All day camps are inspected 2 times per year and are certified by the Dept. of Health (files are available for inspection at Albany County Health Dept., 175 Green Street, Albany, NY 12201). Camper safety is he most important aspect of camping and will be emphasized during hiring, training and throughout the entire summer. First aid equipment is always available and a camp nurse is on the premises daily.

TRANSPORTATION**: Our transportation system is designed to meet your needs and concerns, while carrying hundreds of children to and from camp each day in a safe and efficient manner. Our bus counselors try to make the bus ride a part of the total camp experience by leading songs and cheers and working on presentations for "Show." Routes have been established and are updated annually to service much of the Capital District area. The stops on each route are conveniently located for neighborhood service, but the size of our passenger loads precludes our providing door-to-door deliveries.

Please allow 5 minutes on either side of the scheduled times, as listed, to compensate for traffic and road delays which are beyond our control. If the bus arrives early, it will wait at the stop and will not leave until the time stated in this brochure. Please do not ask the bus driver to alter his/her route as other parents are depending on the schedule.

Look over the bus routes and pick the bus stop, both AM and PM, which is most convenient for you. Indicate you choice on the enrollment form found in the back of this brochure. If at any time your child needs to change his/her bus stop number, written notice will be required.

**Bus transportation is NOT included in the cost of camp.
