YMCA Day Camp - General Camp OfferingsAdventure CampDays: Monday-FridayTimes: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Ages: 5*-10 yrs Location: Greenbush YMCA Dates: June 30th – August 29th Cost: Members: $160/week This camp provides a wide variety of activities to suit all interests! Camp is centered on weekly activities and the YMCA Four Core Values of Caring, Respect, Honesty and Responsibility. Our daily activities will include swimming lessons, free swim, sports and games, arts and crafts and special theme week events. Weekly field trips are an integral part of our curriculum. Special events such as theme weeks, talent shows and community service projects are just a few experiences to anticipate! *Camp acceptance possible for those 4-year old members who will be entering Kindergarten in fall of 2008. Teen CampDays: Monday-FridayTimes: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Ages: 11-12 yrs Location: Greenbush YMCA Dates: June 30th – August 29th Cost: Members: $160/week In addition to the above activities, this camp involves challenging programs, field trips and special events with an emphasis on leadership skills and teamwork. Counselors-In-Training CampDays: Monday-FridayTimes: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Ages: 13-15 yrs Location: Greenbush YMCA Dates: June 30th – August 29th Cost: $80/week Learn leadership qualities and daily duties of a camp counselor. Choose which camper age group you would prefer to work with and enjoy the daily schedule, weekly theme weeks and field trips. Teens must set up an interview with the Camp Director no later June 1st. We will be limiting the number of accepted teens to 25 per week to ensure proper training. This group of young people will have a combination of training classes and hands-on counselor experiences.
