Camp Objectives
Capital District YMCA Summer Camps provide an opportunity to:
- Have fun and adventure in a safe environment.
- Enhance individual character and moral development.
- Develop new skills and interest and have new experiences.
- Develop a respect for the nature world and work for its conservation.
- Develop new friendships and social skills and learn about team work
and group responsibility.
- Develop an appreciation of self-worth and self-expression.
- Develop a sense of cultural appreciation and work for worldwide understanding.
Camping Philosophy
The YMCA strives to deliver high quality camping
programs that will provide participants with the "Experience of a
Lifetime: in a safe, educational, and fun environment."
Financial Assistance
The Capital District YMCA strives to make its programs and facilities
available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Funds raised
through the YMCA's Reach Out For Youth annual support campaign are designated
to the ACCESS program. Through ACCESS, program and membership fees are
subsidized on a sliding scale basis considering family size and income.
Campers Should Bring to Camp
Each Day:
- Bag Lunch
- Bathing Suit
- Towel
- Snack
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- A Smile!!

Day Camp
$145 per session for Full Members
$165 per session for Non-Members
Times: 7:30 am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
Half Day Camp
$75 per session for Full Members
$85 per session for Non-Members
Times: 12pm-5:30pm Monday-Friday
